The first place you should point out your sale is online. The internet is a vast whirlwind of stuff, so you need to know exactly where to post to generate genuine interest in your products. Anything niche or of significant value should be posted on specific platforms appealing to an audience interested in such an item. For those who are just keen to sell general items online auction sites, local community websites and selling-based websites are perfect. You need to make sure you set a fair price for each item, or you’ll simply be wasting your time and money in writing the advert. You should also be honest; people will wonder why you’re selling a brand new rug at a bargain price, but a slightly worn but great looking rug at a bargain price is much more appealing. You can either deliver it to the store or pop it into one of the charity collection bags which come through the door. Charities not only sell on products which are in good condition, they reuse and recycle anything that’s not, so even things you think are fit for the bin will benefit a good cause.
